As an Army brat herself, Dianne wants to give a personal thank you to all the spouses. parents, and children of those that risk all to keep us safe and free.  She knows the sacrifices you are making as well.

Here are a few things we have made to give you some ideas.  We do our own design work so if you don't see what you want...that does NOT mean we can't make it! Contact us and tell us what you want.

Seals and Flags

Flag, noun: a piece of cloth or similar material attachable by one edge to a pole or rope and used as the symbol or emblem of a country or institution or as a decoration during public festivities

Seal/Insignia, noun: a badge of authority or honor

Sounds so simple, cold, and generic, yet when you see YOUR flag or YOUR insignia it takes on meaning.  We have always taught our children to show pride in who they are, who they represent, and where they come from!  If you feel the same. one of these pieces might find a place in your home.

As pictured here, the seals or insignias measure 11.25 x 11.25 inches and cost $60.  Our standard size for the flags are 7.25 x 14 inches  ($75) and 11.25 x 22 inches ($125).  If you prefer the natural wood with no epoxy then you will save the extra $10 materials cost.

Heirlooms

Heirloom Personal Effects Chests were originally commissioned to honor the memory of those soldiers who had fallen while serving to protect this nation.  Now they are often ordered by our retiring heroes, or less often, early in their careers to

"keep it all together".  Either way, we

would love to have a part in keeping

your memories alive.

Our standard chest measures 30 x 18 x 16 inches, one compartment shadow box on inside or outside of the lid, one carving on area of choice, rank, name and years of service  on the same side as carving.  and a tray inside.  Our base price is $550.

Maj. Lewis chose to upgrade his lid with several compartments all with different fabrics, change the tray into a  coin holder, and add years of service on the side rather than to the top.  He also modified the size at no charge.

Military shadow boxes were originally simple boxes in which sailors retiring from shipboard service carried their belongings ashore. Superstition held that if the sailor's shadow touched shore before he set foot upon it, he would suffer ill luck. By carrying his belongings, a

metaphorical "shadow" of himself, enclosed within the box he could ensure he would touch land before his "shadow".

By tradition, shadow boxes are typically presented to members of the United States Armed Forces upon retirement. These shadow boxes will usually contain the various medals and awards a person has earned through a military career, the flags of both their country and their military service branch, and their final badge of rank. A similar case, called a uniform display case, displays an entire military uniform with correct insignia placement. Let's work together to make yours the perfect gift for that special person!

We will work with you do design the perfect box  that will be cherished for generations.  Our basic shadow box is made of solid wood and includes personalized designed front, a flag  section, a mementos section with felt back in your color choice, flag templet custom cut to your box and, rank, name and years of service carved.  Upgrades include wood species, extra sections inside, and extra carvings.  Basic box is $350 and basic stand is $20 with one carving.
